What I have been doing. With over 15 years of experience, I work to articulate
brands, blending visual and verbal narratives. Each project is a dialogue, a close relationship driven by a process that allows for asking the right questions and collaboration – gathering multiple perspectives that bring creativity and inspiration. I do this via my consultancy, The Joinery.

Working across disciplines, I formed The Joinery to supply all the resources of a large agency with the personal attention of a boutique studio, drawing upon an international pool of talent that is matched to specific project needs. Living in Hong Kong for the past 12 years has shaped a unique fusion of Eastern and Western perspectives, business practices and deep cultural sensitivity. I have worked with other agencies and clients in lingerie, fashion, architecture/interiors, photography, retail, property and healthcare.

What the spirit is. Curiosity. Kindness. Timelessness. A listening ear, a wandering spirit, eyes that really look. Broad vision and adherence to detail. Thoughtful, deep understanding of brands and being able to guard their values while still imparting a human, bespoke touch.  My passions span a rich creative spectrum from graphic design to the culinary arts. At the moment I am particularly interested in how identity and culture is communicated through craft and vernacular design.
